He earned a Bachelors from Bucharest University in Petroleum Exploration, a Master of Science in Project Management from the Imperial College of London and a postgraduate diploma at Oxford University from the College of Energy Studies.

Prior to AI Capital, Mr. Tuan held the post of Managing Director at ATC Biotechnology Ltd., as Finance Director and then Managing Director of Saigon Business Consultancy Co., and also spent time with the Vietnam Petroleum Institute. Mr. Tuan helped nurture and initiate the Vietnamese securities industry when he served as one of the founding members of Sagion Securities Incorporated (SSI), the biggest securities broker in Vietnam

He is a native Vietnamese speaker, is fluent in English and conversant in Romanian. Mr. Tuan is married to Nguyen Thi Ngoc Thuy and they have a daughter, Tam.
